RUSH presents local power houses, Truant.J and Ageless for driving house, hard groove and techno. Truant.J is making their RUSH debut and we welcome back Ageless from our initial party launch in May 2025.
Truant.J explores the depths and sounds of techno, crafting a journey through textures, emotions, and the space between the dance floor and the esoteric. The Victoria, Canada-based artist has brought their distinct sound to iconic venues across the globe, from Paris’s Glazart and KMS25 to Vancouver’s Vantek, Gorg-o-mish, and Open Studios, where they have supported renowned artists such as Ellen Allien, Stephanie Sykes, and Julia Govor. Through their own imprint, Truant.J has earned the support of renowned acts including Richie Hawtin, Ben Sims, Paula Temple, and Barker.
Their recorded output is equally compelling, with tracks on esteemed labels like Soma Records, Life In Patterns, and a release on Insolate’s Out of Place Records. A collaborative album with Moteka on Paris-based Skryptöm and a vinyl release on Nur Jaber’s OSF further cement their place in the scene.
Ageless is known for captivating audiences with hard groove and techno. Pushing boundaries and creating unforgettable energy on the dance floor, he seamlessly blends driving rhythms and hypnotic melodies to keep the mysterious of the dance floor alive. Of recent, Ageless has played at Otherworld, Spanish Groove Collection in YVR and at the Downbeat with Jex Opolis and the Ram Jam party.
